Inspirational Words Writing Prompts and Free PDF for Writing Groups and Teachers
It is NaNoWriMo which is a site that helps people write a novel. The idea is to write a novel in November, and many people actually try to do so, recording their progress on that website.
I can't get that inspired myself this month, dealing with some of life's hard
realities. So, I thought perhaps a free PDF of writing prompts with inspirational words would be a good idea. Maybe these will inspire others to start a project or just write.
I recently saw a webinar with Bryan Stevenson who works with not-guilty people who have falsely been incarcerated. He has helped many become free after years of being in prison unfairly. He wrote the book, JUST MERCY, which has been made into a movie as well. Mr. Stevenson is a lawyer who runs the Equal Justice Initiative. He talks about hope being a superpower. Sometimes we all need to be reminded hope is a necessary part of life.
Next, I'll share positive quotes I found online and the
picture of the writing prompt page included in this month's PDF. The image of the writing page follows each quote.
"Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness."— Desmond Tutu
“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.” —Dalai Lama
“You don’t change the world with the ideas in your mind, but with the conviction in your heart.” — Bryan Stevenson
“The opposite of poverty is not wealth. In too many places, the opposite of poverty is justice.” — Bryan Stevenson
"All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope." — Winston Churchill
"A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work." — Colin Powell
"I'm an introvert... I love being by myself, love being outdoors, love taking a long walk with my dogs and looking at the trees, flowers, the sky." — Audrey Hepburn
"Writing became such a process of discovery that I couldn't wait to get to work in the morning: I wanted to know what I was going to say." — Sharon O'Brien
