Nina Amir Wants More for Your Book Than the Law of Attraction!

Can You Attract A Bestselling Book?

By Nina Amir
(This post is part of the virtual book tour for Creative Visualization for Writers)

Wouldn't it be nice if you could attract a bestselling book? You know...use the Law of Attraction to get your book on the bestseller list?

You would think about what you desire—bestseller status for your book—imagine what it would feel like—Whoo hoo!—and miraculously your book would appear on a bestseller list.

While some people advocate this approach to attracting what you want, I believe there is more to the equation. You have to do something to realize your desires.

When it comes to creating a bestseller, of course, you have to write a marketable book. That means a book that sells. After that, you need to promote the book once it is released. It's a rare book that ends up as a bestseller simply by word of mouth.

All that said, don't throw out the idea that your mental and emotional exercises won't help your book succeed.

Visualize Success

In fact, creative visualization, which involves consciously daydreaming about what you want and imagining what it would be like to have it, works. That's why athletes and business people visualize the results they want to achieve.

For example, an Olympic swimmer sits quietly by himself and imagines every stroke of the race and his fingers hitting the wall before anyone else. He also imagines himself feeling tired the last lap but summoning the energy to speed ahead of his opponents.

When he visualizes the race in this way, his mind fires off signals that make his muscles react as if he was swimming the race. The mind knows no difference between his imagined race and the real one.

A businesswoman imagines how she will conduct herself during an important meeting. She sees herself successfully fielding difficult questions and negotiating the results she desires.

Again, the brain sees her visualization as if it is a real meeting. It fires off signals to her body to remain calm and centered. And it helps her entrain her desired responses in her mind and body.

It's no different when it comes to creating a bestseller. Visualize yourself:
  • Feeling comfortable and confident speaking about your book to a large audience.
  • Responding to comments on guest posts you've written for well-trafficked blogs.
  • Getting great reviews on Amazon.
  • Seeing increasing book sales weekly.
  • Sharing beautiful quote cards from your book on social networks.
  • Watching your book move up the Amazon Top 100 list in its category...until it hits #1.
If you visualize these scenarios, and you allow yourself to connect emotionally to the images in your mind, your mind fires as if you were having these experiences. It tells your body and your unconscious mind that you can do this!

Take Action

There is missing piece in the Law of Attraction equation. It is action.

Visualization helps you achieve your desired results, but you still have to do something. The swimmer still has to get in the pool and race. The businesswoman still has to go into the meeting and negotiate.

You have to, first, write a book that will sell, and then you have to help it sell. You have to promote it.

Your creative visualizations help you do these things. They train your mind and body to write and market your book—and to succeed.

No More Negative Thoughts

Here's another benefit to creative visualization: Your visualizations counteract your negative thoughts—My book will never become a bestseller. And I'm not good at marketing.—and beliefs—Writers shouldn't have to promote their books. Art and sales should never be mixed. When you imagine yourself with a bestselling book of your own in your hands and you see yourself in your mind's eye doing what is necessary to make that happen, you convince your mind it's true.

That means you reduce or eliminate the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that have held you back. You retrain your mind to believe the positive thoughts and unlimited beliefs associated with the success you imagined.

With a more positive mindset in general, you will have a much easier time driving your book to bestseller status.

Two Simple Yet Proven Strategies to Make It Happen

Marketing Tips

By Karen Cioffi

In April of this year, I was on a teleseminar given by Steve Harrison - Jack Caufield was the guest speaker. Jack Caufield is the co-creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul. His talk boiled down to two key elements of any marketing campaign:

1. Persistence and Perseverance

Chicken Soup for the Soul was rejected 144 times, and it took eighteen months before it became a hit.

2. Projection

Jack and his co-creator created projection sheets and put them everywhere, even the bathroom. They took the New York Times selling page, whited out the #1 spot and put Chicken Soup for the Soul, then made copies. If I remember correctly, he even had it on the ceiling above his bed.

Also, along with this projection, they plugged away at making it happen. They acted on the projection. Projecting without putting the effort into reaching your goals is similar to faith with works - it won’t get you where you want to be.

The author who shared these tips is Karen Cioffi-Ventrice who is founder of Writers on the Move. Learn more about her at http://www.dkvwriting4u.com

Sharing--As I'm Inclined To Do--My Enthusiasm for the Law of Attraction

Those of you who follow my newsletter know that recently I became infatuated with the power of the law of attraction and the book and CD (I prefer the CD)called The Secret. I'm not on Rhonda Byrne's payroll but I should be. (-: I keep relating the age-old principles to my own life, my own career and it's working so well I want to share its power with my writing friends. But then that's my M.O. That sharing business. If I could have a daily dose of power-of-the-universe coaching, I'd sure get it.

Did I say that? Well I can and so can you. It can come right to your e-mail box and, yes, you know me. It's more frugal than those high-priced weekends, etc.

It's from my friend, Elizabeth Grant, “The Quantum Coach.” It’s called Quantum Power Sessions, . It's an innovative tool to help you awaken to your inner happiness and even propel your writing career. Her plan is simple. You spend a few minutes every single weekday morning with one of the most effective mentors in North America and she keeps you on track. That's essential when you're first learning a new way to think and to be.

Elizabeth’s story of personal transformation is remarkable. A talented executive by her mid-20s, she felt unfulfilled and out of sync, and spent most of the next 15 years in a state of major depression and anxiety, at times unable to even hold a job.

Then, she experienced a spiritual awakening, and realized that she didn’t have to suffer; that her outer life was just a reflection of the inner her – not the other way around! She discovered the power of living in the now, and she stumbled upon a way of life she now calls Quantum Living – living in harmony with the universe, and developing the thoughts, mindset, habits, and consciousness to help you tap into your own inner happiness and create unlimited prosperity in your life. It was only later that she learned there was something called the Law of Attraction, and that this was the reason her life had become so effortless.

Elizabeth has now emerged as one of the most effective spiritual mentors and Law of Attraction teachers in the world.

A few months ago, she wondered, “If I could spend just five minutes every day with everyone who was seeking inner happiness and outer abundance, imagine the shifts they could make in just a few months! And what if I could make this affordable for virtually anyone seeking this kind of help?”

And so she came up with Quantum Power Sessions. Here’s what they’re about:

Each weekday morning, you’ll receive a powerful five-minute mp3 in your inbox personally created by Elizabeth. It will be filled with the highest quality mentoring available, helping you to permanently integrate key concept into your life, such as:

The Law of Attraction
The Power of Now
Wealth Consciousness
The Art of Allowing
The Power of Thought
… and more!

Elizabeth has completely transformed her own life, which is why she understands what you’re going through. She cuts through the fluff and presents complicated concepts like Wealth Consciousness in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. And each day, she’ll give you a simple action you can integrate into your day!

Gradually, you’ll be able to experience the huge shifts you hear others experience. And these powerful sessions cost only about $5 a week! In addition, Elizabeth will help you reinforce what you’ve learned through a FREE monthly group coaching call!

And the time is right. Many are so enthused they're offering free bonus gifts when you decide to help yourself. So if Quantum Power Sessions resonates with you, you can access $8,000 in gifts from people like Marci Shimoff, Lisa Nichols, John Assaraf, and me!
