Pen and Ink October Drawing and Writing Prompts Freebie

Pen and Ink October Drawing and Writing Prompts Freebie

Both Inktober and NaNoWriMo partly inspired this month's drawing and writing prompts. Inktober Classic is all around the Internet currently, a daily motivational drawing prompt word for artists and illustrators. Another Inktober 52 option is to draw once a week for a year. In November, of course, it will be NaNoWriMo for writers which encourages the writing of a full book in one month. This month's writing prompt freebie is a set of 31 words gathered when watching Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 Halloween movies. All the words could have non-holiday themes such as ravishing, infer, candle, and glorious. However, secondary students and those who enjoy the films might be motivated to write thinking of the movie plot and characters, and take off from there. Plus writing groups could have fun with these words for quick writes, flash fiction, poetry, or even jokes.

We all need motivation to improve our craft. This is just another motivational tool. The free instant download is at the link, below.

Each page has a single word to inspire both writing and drawing. Finding single words is a challenge. So, listening to Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2, I wrote down some of the interesting words. The words would not have to be related to a Halloween theme. I thought some people would find the words fun to work with.

Also, there is one blank page. It could be printed 31 times, stapled, and used as a journal for any set of 31 words for a month of drawing and writing.

Always, a coloring page is included for children who may be present at writing group and need something to occupy their time.
