Canceled LA Area Writers’ Conference

IMPORTANT for anyone planning to attend GLAWS writers conference (see below): Tony N. Todaro has announced that the Conference that starts tomorrow has been postponed due to tragic circumstances. We are dealing with our issues this weekend and will work with the school next week for the date of our 22nd Conference.

This is what you might expect when it is reinstated:
I will be giving a keynote Friday, Feb. 22, at Valley College, 2:30 pm. If you can't be there but know a writer who lives in the Los Angeles area, I hope you'll share with them. At the last presentation I did, one of my agent's 'babies' was near the restaurant where the Historical Novel group was meeting. She saw a mention on Facebook, came to introduce herself and stayed for the meeting! It was one of the joys of writing!  So, here my little pitch:

I was once a precocious journalist who gave up too soon and for all the wrong reasons. I am excited to share my story and tons of tips for writers who suffer from Imposter Syndrome—psychology’s term for letting I’m-Not-Good-Enough and It’s-Too-Late thoughts to interfere with starting a project or launching a writing career. The subtitle could be “What I learned from Mom, Cancer, and Deepak Chopra.”

You are invited to this writer's conference at Valley College in Los Angeles.  Planned by Tony N. Todaro of GLAWS’ (Greater Los Angeles Writers' Society), Genre-LA Creative Writing Conference starts Friday 2/22.  It is designed to  to assure writers that 2019 will count for something big. Tony offers segment  rates for those who can't be at the conference for the whole weekend and #greatHotelRates.  Come get your handout for
