Amazon’s Newsletter for
authors with e-books is out and they say that our AuthorCentral profiles (or author pages) can now
be seen in India. “Seen” for Amazon means linked to everywhere on amazon your
name appears! That might include your reviews of books that might interest readers who would also be interested in your book, your author profile, any comments you may have made, etc.
If my SharingwithWriters blog subscribers and visitors haven’t installed a profile with AuthorCentral,
let me know what your very good reason for not doing so is! I can’t think of one
‘cause Amazon is now in the UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, even Mexico and India now and people around the world speak (and read) English as second and third languages. And
that isn’t a complete list! Here is what Amazon says:
“Author Central is
excited to announce the launch of Author Pages on http://Amazon.in . Customers on
Amazon.in can search and browse your author page, seeing the same profile
picture, images, videos, and more as you have on your Amazon.com Author Page.
Author Pages on Amazon.in are managed from http://authorcentral.amazon.com .
Author Pages help
readers connect with you, find books they will love, and keep up with your
latest news.
