Is it time for you to become a WPN member?
"Writers & Publishers Network is an essential resource for my small independent publishing business. As an author, I rely on the useful ideas and information provided by WPN to help me hone my craft. Writing skill counsel is offered with clarity and transparency.
As a publisher, I have limited time and budget to maximize my marketing and promotional opportunities. WPN has repeatedly offered programs expanding discoverability and increasing sales of my books. Kathleen Kaiser’s wisdom, insight, and generosity solidifies my membership year after year."Doug SnelsonAward Winning Author & PublisherPetalous Publishing, LLC
Hello,
Welcome to 2021 and my second year as membership chairperson for WPN. What a year 2020 was for all of us. I hope the trials of the past year also gave you moments to pause and find inspiration and dedication to your writing practice. I know it has for me.
I want to invite you to join WPN and get 2021 kicked off in the WRITE direction.
Over the past year, I have been working closely with our president Kathleen Kaiser. The goal was to bring new educational resources to WPN and create something with a lasting value to our members. We did that with the launch of our webinar series late last spring. Starting in March, we will again bring you these courses to attend live or download and watch later, at a discounted member price. It's a can't miss opportunity on your publishing path.
The information, education, and comprehensive knowledge I have gained as a member is the number one reason I wanted to become the membership chairperson. Using WPN resources has made me more focused and better equipped to handle my writing career.
Writing is so much more than just a craft or art form. Many of us (writers) don't realize what it fully entails until we are close to a finished manuscript. To be successful, you'll have to approach your writing like a business. Publishing, agents, self-promotion, where do you even begin?
WPN is where! We have excellent information on small publishers, book marketers, and the ever-critical graphic designers who make books jump off the shelves at readers.
As artists, we need a little help navigating the business side of our work. Are you an artist that wants to break into the literary world? Where DO you go when you are ready to be published or work as a freelance designer? As a Writers & Publishers Network (WPN) member, you gain inside knowledge of all things publishing.
And with your membership, you get a plethora of invaluable resources. Industry experts share tips and tricks, as well as the staff here at WPN. We work hard to make sure our members get the latest in industry information.
This year, my challenge to myself is to make 2021 the resource year. I already have ideas brewing, so join us as we dive into the roaring 20s!!
To join, please visit our membership page and sign up. You will more than recover the small cost back in discounts and savings from mistakes WPN can help you avoid.
I hope to get to know you all better this year and look forward to seeing each of you at our bi-monthly webinars starting in the early spring! If you have any questions, please email me at info@abmoriarty.com
