Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop Goes Virtual in 2020

I love it when organizations in our industry put our precious writing peeps before business. It's even better when they manage to do it and still take care of business--including career-building. Today I received this notice from my friends at the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop. It brought back some wonderful memories of the times I presented there. Memories of Dayton. Memories of the speakers. Memories of their consideration for their presenters. I figured my #SharingwithWriters visitors and subscribers would benefit by knowing about this--maybe even more of them than ever before. No travel!

Coming to a Laptop Near You —
Emmy Award Winners, Celebrated Authors and Comedians
We're going virtual!

Emmy Award winners, celebrated authors and comedians will headline the Oct. 29-31 Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop. The cost is $199 with the opportunity to laugh and be inspired by six keynote speakers and participate in up to 25 sessions, an attendee stand-up comedy show and Pitchapalooza, billed as “American Idol for books, only kinder.” Check out the fabulous slate of speakers.

A bonus: you can attend in pajamas (either your daytime or night ones.) The workshop will be recorded through the interactive platform Crowdcast, which gives attendees the opportunity to watch replays of every session long after the workshop ends.

Registration is open for laughs and learning on the (virtual) Dayton Riviera.

If you're looking for a virtual creative pilgrimage, *this* is the one.

(Above all else, we hope you and your loved ones remain safe and well.)
