Quick but Soul-Felt Memorial for Syd Field

Syd Field (1935-2013) died . Author of several how-to books on the art of writing screenplays, he also conducted seminars on the topic. I believe he knew the same techniques used for screenplays could be applied to novels; it’s something I’ve often recommended. That is reading up and taking classes on screenplay structure, dialogue and more. He was also a great example that we don’t need to stop being productive after 60. He was 77.
