So, here is the info from the Opportunities section of that newsletter I want you to have--something I know many of you will want to try out for:
UCLA Offers Writing Credential Scholarship ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As many of you know, I took many classes at UCLA to learn the fine art of fiction after a life time's grounding in journalism and marketing. I have taught seminars there for nearly a decade. I believe in what they do. Now they offer a Writers’ Program Scholarship to those who “might not otherwise have an opportunity to develop his or her creative writing or screenwriting skills in a supportive classroom setting. Courses may be taken either onsite or online.” Applications are available at www.uclaextension.edu/writers or call 310 825-7483. The deadline is June 29, 2012.
