Connecting Free Buffer Social Media Sharing with Social Accounts

Connecting Free Buffer Social Media

Sharing with Your Social Accounts

By Carolyn Wilhelm

Starting out with social media images can be very confusing. People may purchase plans that leave them bewildered anyway. It is always good to use free trials (being quick enough to end them before payment if not suitable). In free Buffer, sharing may be done with three platforms, and more if using the priced business plan. So, the first screen after login will look close to this image. People familiar with Buffer will notice I have already connected my Twitter account but have no scheduled Tweets at this time. No other accounts are connected at this time.

I am going to change which accounts to use on the free account. On the bottom left of the screen, click on manage social accounts.

A panel is then shown where accounts may be selected. On this screen, click the blue button to add a social media account.

A selection of choices for free Buffer is shown on the next screen. You will notice Pinterest can only be managed with a priced plan.

Click on an account you want to add. I selected a Facebook Group. I have to click the blue button in the lower right-hand corner to proceed.

Then I have to give Buffer the authority to post for me.

Then I have to click ADD, again.
